Lumo (“the App”) is provided on the App Store for personal expense and income tracking.
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information related to your use of the App.
Information We Collect and Use
Transaction data (on-device): Expenses, income, categories, dates, notes, budgets, and related
data are stored locally on your device for charts and summaries. We do not upload your transaction content to our own servers.
Microphone & speech recognition: If you use voice entry, the App requests microphone access.
Where supported, on-device speech recognition may convert speech into an editable draft before you save.
Photo library: Accessed only when you choose images for notes or receipts.
Subscriptions & purchases: Lumo Pro and other paid features are processed by Apple.
We do not collect or store payment card details. Subscription status may be validated via Apple and services such as RevenueCat.
App preferences: Language, currency, theme, and category choices are stored locally.
Product analytics (optional): If enabled in a release build (e.g. PostHog), we may collect
anonymous or aggregated usage events to improve the App. No data is sent when analytics is not configured.
Storage & Retention
Data remains on your device unless you delete the App or clear its data.
Uninstalling may permanently remove local records. Please back up important data yourself.
